We offer a comprehensive sash window refurbishment and draft proofing, based on a typical sash window.

1. We remove sashes from their boxes for inspection and an operating check.
2. Clean the internals of the box and running edges and prime where required.
3. We re-cord and re-hang the sashes, renew staff and parting beads as required and prime.
4. We draft proof your sash windows to help cut out drafts but also help open and close the windows easily.
5. We then supply and fit new 'Brighton' pattern lock and sash lifts.

Premier Service...

Our premier service is a comprehensive repair and refurbishment with draft proofing, based on a typical sash window.

1. We clean and strip internals of the box, strip back to bare wood, carry our minor repairs to wood as required.
2. Re-new sash cord pulleys with brass face pulleys if existing units are un-serviceable.
3. Strip paint from the sashes to bare wood and make any necessary repairs, filling and re-putting as required.
4. We prime box sashes and install draft proofing (as above).
5. We re-cord and re-hang the sashes.
6. Complete re-assembly of windows to give a smooth opening operation, renew staff and parting beads as required and prime.
7. We draft proof your sash windows to help cut out drafts but also help open and close the windows easily.
8. We then supply and fit new 'Brighton' pattern lock and sash lifts.

Cost of glass and to re-glaze and putty in a single pane will be given with your quote.
